產品說明
Sabouraud Agar Modified (Emmons) 是瓊脂（固態）培養基，屬於酵母菌與黴菌培養的標準配方。較低的 pH 本身即抑制細菌，用於酵母菌與黴菌的分離、計數與保存。上鼎以食品級原料製造，生產環境通過 ISO 22000 認證，每批附 COA。本品為清真認證版本。
原理
Casein enzymatic hydrolysate and pepsin-digested animal tissue provide nitrogen, amino acids, and essential growth factors for fungal metabolism. Dextrose provides the carbon and energy source. In the Emmons modification, the dextrose concentration is reduced to 20 g/L and the pH is adjusted to near-neutral, which improves the recovery of dermatophytes and other fungi compared with conventional Sabouraud Dextrose Agar. Agar acts as the solidifying agent.
真菌培養基怎麼選
馬鈴薯葡萄糖瓊脂與沙氏葡萄糖瓊脂是酵母菌與黴菌培養計數最常用的兩種通用培養基，前者促進菌絲生長與孢子形成、適合形態觀察，後者的低 pH 本身就有抑制細菌的作用。麥芽類培養基適合酵母菌的培養與保存，Czapek 系列則用於麴菌等絲狀真菌的分類鑑定。液體版用於增殖與擴培，瓊脂版用於計數與分離。
配製與使用
Suspend 47 g of powder in 1 L of purified water. Heat with continuous stirring and bring to the boil for 1 minute. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Mix well and pour into sterile Petri dishes. Test the finished medium for performance using stable, standard control cultures.
