Low-endotoxin nitrogen source for biopharmaceutical upstream processes. Recommended for microbial fermentation of therapeutic proteins, hormones, insulin, vaccines and antibiotics by recombinant and non-recombinant microorganisms, and as a supplement to cell culture media to boost viable cell density and product yield. High solubility and ultrafiltered quality support clean media preparation, sterile filtration and efficient downstream processing.

Overview
Ultrafiltered yeast extract produced by controlled autolysis of a selected yeast strain cultivated on a molasses-based medium. Ultrafiltration removes high-molecular-weight material, giving a highly soluble, low-endotoxin nutrient with a controlled dead-cell count. Supplies readily available amino acids, peptides, vitamins and essential trace elements with very low sodium chloride. Guaranteed non-GM and free of ingredients of animal origin.
