A fine off white powder, readily soluble in water, produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of fish protein and combined with pea peptone. The blend of animal and plant protein hydrolysates provides a complementary profile of peptides and free amino acids. Raw materials are of animal (fish) and plant (pea) origin.

Fish peptone is a marine animal nitrogen source with a complete amino acid profile, used for marine organisms and aquaculture-related strains, aquaculture probiotics and fish pathogen research, and as an animal peptone option free of bovine and porcine origin. Fish is a declarable allergen.
